Spring/ Winter Olympics

Well spring is just around the corner now... and that statement partially angers me. Don't get me wrong I like spring alot, however it seems like spring and fall bring out a large majority of what I like to call "Old People Joyriders". Now, I also have nothing against "older people" and the fact that they are not in a hurry to get anywhere fast. I just wish that they would at least do within 20 mph of the speed limit. I hate this so much because I seem to find every single one of them, and it's usually when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere too. I come over a hill on a two lane road doing 60 to find a small white car doing 35 and looking at everything as it begins to grow back. Well, "why don't you pass them?", you might say... I would love to except it seems that the on coming traffic has perfectly timed out the space in between oncoming cars to make it impossible to pass until we get to the next blind hill. I only write about this because I was behind one of these joy riders today on my way to work. The good part about spring though is baseball season is almost here, and that means so is the Diana Alumni baseball game (which I am very much looking forward to). In fact I'm sure I'll come on here Saturday after the game and tell you how much my arm hurts after not throwing a baseball for so long and then trying to do it again. It is worth hurt though... get to see everyone again, and get to hang out and have some fun.

On another note I watched the Winter Olympics last night and realized something.. The Olympics is the only time I am able to set there and watch something as boring as curling or cross country skiing for hours and somewhat get excited about it. I guess its just the fact that I want America to win, but I know normally I would see this stuff flipping throught the channels and think... "Who watches this crap?" Shaun White, however, is a beast on a snowboard and watching the halfpipe was definitely exciting. The one country I have not seen an reps from though is Iraq... but I guess the winter games are not very celebrated there... Well I hope America dominates... and I am glad the games are not being held in America, because more than likely our President would try to award medals to either A) those who "said" they were going to win or B) everyone... Oh well, USA!.. USA!

The Beginning

Hello out there... I finally did it... After many months of thinking about it I started a blog. Now, I know that I may catch a bunch of crap from you people who think that blogging is "gay" and all that junk, but I feel like this is something I needed to do. I've had a bunch of stuff just building up inside lately and I feel like writing it down is the best way to not build up all this stress inside. Anyways, I really don't know what to write about on this first one... I guess I can just update on life in general. Life has been a real struggle lately, between looking for a job, working at the hell hole Chilis (no offense), and recently being sick. If all that wasn't enough I have my parents constantly on me about finding a "real" job (which I am looking), when all of you (especially you recent grads) that it is a tough job market at the moment. I do not want to just go out and get a job as a bank teller however (no offense again) seeing as how I have spent all that time in college... I feel like the only place I find any peace (?) I guess would be the right word is when I'm able to play my guitar. Sad fact of the matter is though, that it disturbs family memebers that are trying to sleep or watch tv, so I don't get to play near as much as I'd like to. I really hope someday I'm good enough to play in front of some people (dream I'm slowly working up to). Other than that life has been a dull blur lately... work at Chilis, job search, play guitar, and play video games (sometimes) is what my life is like. But enough of the boring stuff... let's get on to the exciting things that are going on... I... I've... well nevermind, I guess boring is all that consumes my life recently. The one exciting thing I have done recently is went on a Ghost Hunting trip with Colby and some others in Marshall at some old building by the train station. It was pretty cool until one person (Pickle) claimed that he was hearing a herd of Hobos or something ??? I dunno.. but I took a video of us in there with my camera on my iPhone, however it may be the single worse piece of cinematography ever... I would really like to go back with my brother's camera and get some good film. Well anways, I guess that's enough for my first blog... I'm out for now. Later.
